Everything you need to know before your Perth Zip+Climb experience
Meeting Location
Matagarup Zip+Climb HQ is located at the northern end of Camfield Drive, Burswood Park. Immediately south of The Camfield.
This is your check-in and meeting location.Do not go directly to Matagarup Bridge.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled activity time. Allow additional travel time if you are unfamiliar with the Burswood precinct or if an event is taking place at Optus Stadium.
Late arrivals may forfeit their booking, so please allow enough time to park, walk to the meeting point and complete check-in.
Do I need to complete a waiver before arriving?You will received a Pre-Arrival Wavier via email to complete online (NOT for Gift Certificate purchases). Please check your junk or spam.
If you have any medical conditions to declare, please contact our team immediately. Certain medical conditions may require a change to our usual operations and if we do not have prior knowledge to arrange this, we may not be able to accommodate you on the day.

Your Arrival and ParkingFree parking is available in the precinct on non-event days, however it is LIMITED.
On event days, there is NO PARKING available at the stadium from 9am regardless of the time of the event.
STADIUM TRAIN STATION OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK
Due to the construction of the adjacent Perth Park, road deviations signage may be in place which may add a few minutes on to your journey. Do not rely on parking being available on the day. Plan ahead.
Free parking is available in the precinct on non-event days, however it is LIMITED.

HEAT: Ensure you eat a good meal prior to your climb and are well hydrated. We recommend light long sleeve shirts on the very hot days. Wear sunscreen. In the case of extreme heat, your activity may be postponed.

What to WearDress appropriately for the weather.
Enclosed rubber sole shoes are compulsory for all activities.
Wear clothing that covers your shoulders, midriff and thighs as the harness straps will rub and cause discomfort on bare skin.
Wet weather gear is NOT provided. Ponchos are available for purchase on the day for $5.

Twilight Climb + Zip Line Absolutely Amazing!!
At 64 with a fear of heights, last nights Climb + Zip Line was incredible! Thank you to our very professional guides Jake, Wooby and Rohan who made it such an amazing experience. Their knowledge, humour and regard for your safety was second to none. I didn’t think I could do the Zip Line but with their encouragement, I am on cloud nine today, it was the absolute best and can’t stop talking about it.

Matagarup Zip+Climb is a must do!!
This experience was more than we expected. Not only the thrill of climbing up and zipping down, it was full of information about the bridge itself and the surrounding area. Fun and facts all rolled into one amazing experience. The staff were also fantastic with their knowledge and humour and of course safety. I would highly recommend the Matagarup Zip+Climb!!

Epic Zip+Climb
The best zipline I have been on! And climbing up the bridge was amazing too, highly recommend and would do again :) Stacey, Walker and Erin were all great guides and very knowledgeable about the area, I appreciated learning a bit of the history and about the bridge construction too.

Exceptional staff
I’m seriously impressed with the staff, particularly Stacy and Emma. I don’t know how they can be so enthusiastic, but both of them are definitely in the best job for them! They were not only humorous and witty but really brought a lot of fun to what can be for some, quite a challenging and nerve wracking experience. The tour itself was informative and thrilling and them taking photos along the way was a really great touch since we couldn’t bring our own phones. Plus, the fact you get them straightaway by email after was genius. The climb itself was good- a little scary to start with but the platform isn’t terrifyingly high so it was great. Highly recommend.
About Matagarup Zip+Climb
Zip+Climb is a family adventure precinct on the Burswood Peninsula – located on and around the Matagarup Bridge.
This is no walk up a bridge – this is a true climb. You will be required to shimmy, slide and squeeze past beams to reach the SkyView Deck – an open-air viewing platform above the river before zip-lining back to home base travelling at up to 75km/hr.
